The blended Superintendent Endorsement, Six-Year Certificate in Educational Administration and Supervision program is designed to meet the requirements for a Nebraska Professional Administrative and Supervisory Certificate, with a certificate endorsement of superintendent.
Individuals who should consider this degree:
- Principals wishing to move to district-level administration.
- Doctoral (Ed.D) students interested in P-12 administration at the district level.
Note: In this blended program, most of the coursework can be completed online; however, students are required to attend on-campus seminars during the summer terms of enrollment. The endorsement can also be completed within the curriculum of an Ed.D. degree.
Credits from other accredited institutions can sometimes be easily transferred to complete the program. If you already have a master’s degree, a teaching certificate, and two years of teaching experience, you may elect to enroll in just the principal endorsement.
