Graduate Admissions - Lincoln Campus

Applying to Graduate Studies for the Lincoln campus is typically a two-step process.
 

Step 1: Graduate Studies

Apply and be admitted to UNL Graduate Studies:

  1. Complete a degree-seeking online application for graduate admission.
  2. Pay the non-refundable $50 application processing fee. Credit card, check or money order and cash are accepted.
  3. If your native language is not English, demonstrate English proficiency.
  4. Submit one set of official transcripts from each college or university you have attended to:

Note: Graduate Studies requires online submission of the application; printed forms are not accepted. Please allow 7-10 days for your online application to reach the academic department.

GAMES

After completing the online application for Graduate Admissions, you'll receive an e-mail explaining how to log in and submit your required department information using GAMES, the Graduate Admission Management and Evaluation System.

 

Step 2: Academic Program

Apply and be admitted to the academic department of your program choice. Departmental application requirements are listed on the Admissions tab for individual programs.

 

What Comes Next

Graduate Studies performs a preliminary review after receiving your online application, application fee and transcripts. Your file is then forwarded to the Department Graduate Committee for review.

Department Graduate Committee conducts a departmental review only after all materials are received. The Department Graduate Committee notifies Graduate Studies of their admission recommendation.

Graduate Studies conducts a final review. If you are admitted, Graduate Studies will notify you by e-mail and mail.
